There is also a way to create linetypes with imbedded blocks, but when I was experimenting with it I couldnt get the linetype scale to work properly, havent been able to get back to it.also if you use text in your lines like the code I supplied your text style height needs to be set to 0 in the text style dialog (style on the command line) for it to work easily.
